Luxury boarding

We provide the best in luxury pet boarding for dogs and cats. Every guest may choose whether to be more social or to spend quiet time alone. Bedding is included and we serve Victor Super Premium Dog & Cat Food. We accommodate all sizes, and all pets receive unequaled care and attention.

Reservations are recommended, especially for larger breeds and during peak holiday and vacation times. Book a grooming appointment or bath for a fresh and beautiful homecoming.

Cats get their own condo

We board cats in their own luxury 2-story condo. Sociable cats can mingle with other cats and people in their space.

Daycare

Socialization

Your dog will exercise and socialize with other dogs, so you'll have a happier, more fit dog. Activity eliminates boredom and separation anxiety behavior such as chewing and barking. Daycare suits youngsters with lots of energy and older dogs who need to go outside more often. We give medications and snacks, and can accommodate special needs.

Exercise

Playground equipment and toys are designed for different levels of difficulty, for mental stimulation and confidence building. The Poochi Pool is open seasonally for floating and swimming, with floats, toys, and a lifeguard. The Poochi Gym works core strength, balance, and mental development.

Newcomers

We introduce newcomers carefully to keep everyone happy and safe.

How early to start

We accept dogs 4 months and older who have completed their shots and received a bordetella vaccine. All shots must be kept current.

Baths

Dogs get dirty playing all day. Schedule a bath and dry in advance for an additional charge. Many clients enjoy a half day of play and then a bath to go home clean and fresh.

A typical day

  1. Check inCheck your pet in at the reception desk. Your pet is matched to an appropriate play group.
  2. 10:00 AM to noonGroup playtime.
  3. 12:30 to 1:30 PMYappy Hour: a homemade snack and naptime. Treats are seasonal and may include doggie frozen yogurt or flavored popcorn.
  4. 2:00 to 4:00 PMGroup playtime.

Choose full or half day. A half day includes one 2-hour playtime. On Saturday there is only the morning group playtime.

Daycare requirements

  • All dogs are tested before joining any group
  • Males 6 months and older must be neutered for group play
  • Females in season may not join group play
  • Supply vaccination records, or have your vet fax them: rabies, bordetella, and boosters
  • Cats: rabies and FVRCP boosters
  • Most vets give bordetella only by request
  • All pets on flea and tick prevention; dogs also on heartworm prevention
  • Any dog found with fleas gets a Cap Star at the owner's expense

Grooming

Our groomers are educated in canine skin and coat and attend refresher seminars to stay current on the latest techniques and tools. They have been voted #1 Pet Groomer in Troup County, repeatedly. We groom all AKC registered breeds, the newest designer dogs, potpourri pooches, and cats. Hand-scissored cuts, fancy cuts, and color accents are also available.

All bath services include ear cleaning and plucking, nail trimming and buffing, bath and drying, cologne, and a Blueberry or Cranberry Facial.

  • Closed on major holidays, including Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
